Janell is the founder of Jada Beauty. She directs and oversees all aspects of the Company's planning, objectives, and growth strategies. As the founder of the Company, Janell has built a highly effective and nimble team to execute her vision of being the online destination to discover a perfect hairstylist. Janell is driven and intelligent and her proven track record shows that she's able to take a goal and deliver results that exceed expectations.

Before launching her online business, Janell was a strategy consultant at BitWise Solutions where she worked with C-level executives to create custom applications and managed a Fortune 500 client account. She also provided consulting and project management for real estate and engineering businesses. Janell's experience provides her with a unique perspective to lead the Company while remaining relevant in an online medium. Janell is a graduate from Indiana University where she earned a BS in Business Management. She is married and the mother of four children.

Danielle McDowell is chief marketing officer and co-founder of Jada Beauty. She directs and oversees all aspects of marketing for the company. Her focus includes market positioning, competitive strategies, both stylist and consumer campaigns, program planning, and national launch planning and execution. Danielle is experienced in working with high-tech start-ups. She was identified for this position because of her wide degree of creativity and latitude in marketing high-tech startups.

Prior to her role with Jada Beauty, Danielle spent 3 years as a founding marketing employee of ChaCha, one of the largest mobile answer providers in the US, specializing in brand development and mass consumer acquisition. Danielle has spent her career working on nimble, cross-functional teams in the tech industry. She specializes in bringing new products to market by concentrating on brand identity, marketing communications, early adoption trends, and consumer behavior. Danielle is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame where she earned a BBA in Marketing at the Mendoza College of Business and was a member of Notre Dame's NCAA Division 1 nationally ranked Rowing Team. She lives in Indianapolis, IN with her husband and son.

Melanie Allen is our Marketing Manager and Content Editor. She is responsible for managing our blog and other marketing efforts. This includes creating and facilitating campaigns, partnership development, customer satisfaction and support, and all social media efforts.

Before joining Jada Beauty, Melanie spent four years working in labor and employment law at Indianapolis’ largest law firm. She has also been the Brand Ambassador Manager for ChaCha. Melanie is a graduate of Indiana University with a degree in Communication Studies. For ten years, Melanie has written and maintained her personal blog, Pretty Smart. Her unique professional background paired with her education, passion for writing, and social media savvy make Melanie an integral part of the Jada team. Melanie lives in Indianapolis with her husband and son.

Kailyn was the first employee of Jada Beauty. Her background includes playing a supportive role in the development, launching, and ongoing management of her husband's engineering firm that the family owned for 20 years. During those years, Kailyn wore many hats in assisting the family business which brought her a unique perspective in understanding how to develop and manage a successful business. Kailyn currently oversees all sales efforts and execution for Jada Beauty which includes a team of representatives that promote Jada Beauty by visiting salons on a daily basis. As she continues to assist in the company's development, she strives to help make the client's experience with Jada one that leaves them smiling.
