Jeremy started on his journey in hairstyling at age 24 in late 2007 at International College of Arts and Beauty and finally landed behind the chair in early 2009. Jeremy worked as a Paul mitchell stylist in Alabama and worked along side many platform artists and educators. In 2010 Jeremy moved to Chattanooga, tn and was immersed in the hair a gogo culture. He specializes in Jacques des sange hair cutting technique and with his artistic ability and impeccable attention to detail enjoys working with clients to come up with styles to individualized to their needs. Being a master of his craft he always keeps abreast of the current color and cut trends. He will be attending the network educators program through bumble and bumble in NYC jan 2012. When asked about what he loves about hairdressing he replies, " i get to touch peoples lives everyday, and that was enough for me and if you choose a job you love it's never really going to be much work."

Jeremy is incredible in every single way! He is dedicated to his clients and giving them exactly what they are looking for and more! Jeremy is well-educated in the world of hair - always learning and bringing new and shiney things to the styling chair! He is a blast to be around and will make you heart and hair feel like a million bucks! Yes, he is that good of a stylist and person!

Fantastic first experience with stylist Jeremy Matthews. The atmosphere and feel of Hair A Go Go is that you have received a salon upgrade the moment you enter the door. From the iPad kiosks, sofa waiting areas, coffee station, products area...you elevate your expectations before you are ever placed in a chair. I have been with my prior stylist for 10 years and 3 different states and always returned to them so needless to say I'm a tough customer. Then I decided to give Jeremy and The Go Go a try. Jeremy listened to everything I had to say, took all of my 'stories' on horrid hair experiences, checked BEFORE doing something, and followed up throughout the cut to make sure I was seeing the result I expected. From consultation to finished product the level of service was exemplary. If you are hard core on how your hair looks and feels-go see Jeremy to get your hair experience upgraded, you WILL schedule your next appointment before leaving!
