Alicia moved to Nashville 6 years ago to start her exciting career as a hair stylist. She worked in a upscale salon in Bellevue for over 5 years when she decided to follow her dream and open a salon in 2008. Alicia, along with uncle and stylist Tracy Hill, were proud to announce the opening of one of East Nashville's newest hair salons, Altra Salon, in July of 2008. Tracy Hill
At a young age Tracy knew he had a passion to be in the hair industry. After graduating from Volunteer Beauty Academy in 1987 in the small town of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, Tracy was well on his way to doing just that. Over the next few years Tracy began to build an extensive clientele making a name for himself in his own home town. But at the age of 30 and 11 years of salon experience under his belt, he decided he needed a change. Tracy left his small home town and headed for the big city of Nashville, with the desire of one day being a salon owner himself. After arriving in Nashville, Tracy worked at a well-know hair salon in West Nashville for almost 10 years before taking the plunge and opening his very own salon on music row. Studio 68 was born. After being in business for almost a year, Tracy and his niece Alicia started talking about opening a salon of their own. After months of business planning and designing, ALTRA SALON hit East Nashville with a bang! Tracy is now a proud co-owner of Altra Salon and encourages everyone to stop by and check out one of the hottest hair salons Nashville has to offer!
