My Name is Norma Leverenz, I am an owner of West 86th Hair Designs. I love my job and have enjoyed what I do for over 28 years. I am part of a successful and talented salon team that specializes in client care and satisfaction. I take pride in giving my clients the hair they are looking for. I have a wide variety of services that you can receive, styling, haircuts, color , perms, keratain treatments , wedding, prom, and special occasions. I am also able to go on location for special events. I am a certified colorist in several hair color lines, receiving training in salon and several locations outside of salon for specialized training. Christine always take time to listen to any questions, concerns or ideas I have about my hair. She does an amazing job with my cut and color!

The service Norma gave me was incredible! A stylist (who has now left her salon) cut my hair too short and ruined the color. Norma fixed my haircut and color and DIDN"T charge me a dime. She even gave me a free moisturizing treatment! She is really nice too!

Mindy has been my stylist for 9 years, and I couldn't imagine putting my hair in anyone else's hands! She always takes the time to show me how to style my hair so that I can try my best to make it look as fabulous as she does. Whether I need an up-do for an event or want to try something new, Mindy always makes my hair look great. Not only is she very talented but she's fun to talk to -- which is just one of the many reasons I look forward to my haircuts.

Candace is wonderful! She always does a great job on my hair, and I get so many compliments after she styles me. She listens to what I want, but also makes her own suggestions on what would look good, and she's always right on the mark. She takes care of my whole family, and is absolutely wonderful. She gets my highest recommendation!

Susan is great! My daughter has that long, greek curly hair, and she knows exactly how to handle it. She straightens it for her, and for my teenager to love her says a alot!!

My sister is a client of Terry's and he was able to get me in for a cut the day she went in for her appointment. I was going on vacation so it was last minute. He did a really great job. I'm pretty picky about my fading and my neckline. I also liked the fact that he's an owner but behind the chair as well. He also had a great outgoing personality.

Terry has always given me expert advice and "held me back" when i wanted to do something outrageous he KNEW would not be good for me!--and he is always right--yet never does only what HE wants. Consistently cuts, colors and styles so that everywhere i go people ask-"WHO DOES YOUR HAIR?" and DO YOU THINK HE WILL TAKE ME??

For years I grew my hair very long wearing it in an up-do then donated it to Locks ofLlove over and over. Terry is the first stylist that cut my fine silver crop into a wash and wear style strangers stop and ask "WHERE DO I GO FOR A CUT LIKE THAT?"
At 86 yrs. Terry makes me look younger-maybe not hard to do!-but actually FEEL younger as i receive so many compliments after every appt.!!

I LOVE my hair stylist Jill Hofts!! She always does what I ask her to do and is willing to try new things on my hair. She is great at cutting and color and has very reasonable prices. A lot of these hair stylists OVER charge and she is very affordable. She provides first class hair for second class prices. Call her and make an appointment to day.

I look forward to going to go see Jil! She is everything you look for in a stylist- detail-oriented, knows what cut and color would look best on you, creative, confident in her work, and so much fun to talk to! When I first went to see Jil, I had bounced around between stylists because I never felt like I ended up with exactly what I wanted. Not only is Jil fabulous at what she does, but she can help you visualize what a color or style will look like or even make suggestions. She's also great because she is unafraid to tell you the truth about whether or not a color or cut is right for you- and will always (and I mean always) know exactly what does suit you! Her advice on how to take care of your hair and what products to use is always right on and ensures that your hair looks just as great as it did the day you got it done!
Jil also is incredibly skilled when it comes to hair extensions. She took the time to spend all day putting my extensions in, and they looked absolutely amazing. She made sure I had high quality real hair extensions and even explained how to take care of them, leaving out no details. Patiently, she answered all of my questions. The next day after I had them put in, she even called me to see how I was feeling (if you've ever had extensions put in, you know it can leave your head a little tender) and to ask how I felt about the look! When a few fell out after a few months, she put more in, and when it came time to take them out, she took her time to make sure it was as painless & as thorough as possible!!
From all of the time I've spent in Jil's chair, I can say that she's a no-nonsense expert stylist with color and cut creativity who has definitely become a friend- and I trust no one else with my hair!

I adore jill! I came to her when i totally destroyed my hair trying to do a home root touch up and found jill...she not only fixed my disaster but has made my hair the healthiest it has ever been in my life!
