Today's tutorial: Fishtail braid how-to, à la Kendall Jenner.
What you'll need:
- Two clear elastics
- Hairspray
Before you begin:
I've said it before and I'll say it again: Hairstyles stay so much better with dirty hair. Keep that in mind before starting. Just washed your hair this morning? Add some texture by spraying dry shampoo throughout your hair before getting started.
Let's get started.
1. Gather your hair into a low side pony and secure with a clear elastic.
2. Separate the pony into two pieces. For the purposes of this tutorial, I'll be referring to the right-hand section as section A and the left-hand section as section B.
3. Take a small piece from the back of section B.
4. Cross the piece over the top of section B and add it to section A.
5. Then take a small piece from the back of section A.
6. Cross the piece over the top of section A and add it to section B.
7. Repeat steps 3-6 until your entire pony is braided.
8. Tie off the braid with a clear elastic.
9. Starting at the top, gently pull out sections of the braid for a slightly messy look.
10. Hairspray that baby and...voilà!
