Hairstyles to Take You From Work to Happy Hour

Working a long day can be exhausting. What better way to reward yourself for a hard days work than with a nice evening out with your girlfriends. Here are some simple ways you can take your hair from work to happy hour with ease.

Now that I have longer hair I love this day to work style. In the morning, pull your hair into a tight low knot while it’s still damp and secure it with a few bobby pins. At the end of your work day undo your knot and ta-da! you have magical waves! A few sprits of hairspray or texturizing cream help to make those waves hold their shape. Voila, you are ready to meet your man for some happy hour drinks.

Straight hair can also be a great style to take from the office to happy hour but throughout the day (especially humid or rainy ones) your straight locks may frizz back up. Pack a mini-straightener in your bag to revive those super straight and smooth strands. If you have a little more time, use that straightener to add some waves to  your tresses. If you’re like me, my focused go-to-do is the ponytail. Once it’s pulled back I can really dig-in to what I’m working on. A slicked back pony is the perfect look to take you from day to night. It says “I’m a powerful woman in the office, but hand me a cocktail and let’s chat about “Bossy Pants”.

Now if you are looking to add a little pizzazz to your do, look no further than accessories such as headbands, jeweled bobby pins, and clips.

What's your go-to office look that carries you into the night?

For the love of hair (all day long!),
