JW Salon, located in Indianapolis, joined together with several sponsors, including My Best Friend's Hair, to grant one deserving woman a Mother's Day Makeover of her dreams. JW Salon received several wonderful nominations and stories of hard-working mothers in the area, but one in particular really stood out. Here is her story....
My name is Trevor and I am writing to tell you why my wife Tanya deserves a Mother's Day Makeover. Besides being a wonderful mother of three terrific children; A 4 year old daughter, a 6 year old daughter, and a 14 year old son, Tanya has gone through some big changes in the last few years. First she had issues with hair loss do to a reaction to prescription medication, once that was corrected then she was diagnosed with Fibromialgia which keeps her in constant pain. After seeing doctor upon doctor the pain has been held under control with medication. In the last 6 months her weight has dropped due to issues with her gallbladder, this was removed in March. Because of this most of her clothes do not fit and we have had to replace most of her wardrobe while maintaining a tight budget. And during the same week she had the gallbladder surgery she had to have an impacted tooth removed. Through all of these issues not an ill word would be uttered from her mouth, this along with all the services that a mother provides for her family: cooking, cleaning, running children to practices and activities as well as making time for her husband to feel loved, I couldn't think of a better person to give a day of being pampered with a mother's day makeover than my loving and beautiful wife Tanya!
