This past Sunday night celebrities descended upon the red carpet in Las Vegas for the 2012 Billboard Music Awards. Hollywood's beauties did not disappoint! Taking a more adult look then ever before, Miley Cyrus shocked all by trading in her girlie locks for a sultry 60s bombshell bob, causing quite a stir!

Carrie Underwood arrived in a beautiful strapless Oscar de la Renta ball gown, sporting her classic bouncy curls. Katy Perry complemented her newly died tips with her goth looking lip. Make up artist Todd Delano used Lancome Rouge in Love Lip color in Fiery Attitude to create the beautiful dark purple for her lips. Taylor Swift wore a smoldering red lace gown that made her look very sophisticated.
To complete the look, she wore her hair straight but paired it with blunt bangs, and dark eyes. She looked amazing!

Latin artist Ximena Duque, arrived at the Latin Billboard Awards in Miami in a beautiful teal dress. Ximena's bold hair made a lasting impression. Her wavy, push to the side pony tail turned heads. Brandy made a daring move by wearing her hair in tight curls in a loose flowing afro with a sea of hair extensions to give her look that extra pop! Last but not least, the stunning Alicia Keys kept it simple by wearing a Azzedine Alaina gown but spiced it up with a large braid that draped tightly across her head.

Alicia Keys mohawk braid deserves more attention than just one picture, here is a side view so the hair style can be given proper justice:
Jordan Sparks was all smiles when she landed on the red carpet. Showing off a new beautiful figure she wore a lace dress with a messy, curly, lose side pony. This is a great look because people at home can achieve it easily and still get the hollywood glam look.
A few tips on how to achieve Jordan's look: 1) Brush your hair to one side and use a hair tie to secure it just behind and below your ear. 2) Spray side pony with hair spray or gel, let set for a few seconds. 3) Take small or medium piece of hair, depending how tight or lose you want the curls to be, and curl them. 4) Use hair spray after curling each piece to give it extra hold and definition. There you go! An easy, beautiful, and sophisticated look that can be achieved by all.
