A few weeks ago, we wrote about our Hair Photo a Day Campaign with Pantene, Seventeen and several blog contributors. We have been having so much fun finding and taking pictures every day to share with you through Instagram. The goal of our campaign is to raise awareness for Locks of Love and see how many peeps we can get to donate their hair for this amazing cause. We would still love for our Facebook, Twitter and Blog followers to join us in the Hair Photo a Day campaign. Be sure to follow us on Instagram (@Mybestfriendshair) so we can see all of the awesome hair photos you post! For more information on the #HairPhotoaDay Contest click here.
What's Instagram?
If you are unaware of the amazing Instagram App, we are happy to tell you all about its features! Before now the app was only available to iOS users, but is now available for the Android phone. Using Instagram you can take pictures within the app or use photos that already exist in your camera roll. These photos can be instantly shared, not only on Instagram, but also Facebook, Twitter, Flicker and Tumbler. You can also connect with your foursquare account and tag your photos with location.
My Best Friend's Hair wants YOU to join us in this campaign to raise awareness for Locks of Love and also celebrate the beauty and diversity of hair from around the world.
This campaign means a lot to our team and stylists as Locks of Love has such a positive impact on so many young lives. We would love for a young boy or girl’s spirit to be lifted by this simple donation.
Here's where you come in. We're looking for photos of your Locks of Love experience. Have you grown your hair out and then had it cut to donate to Locks of Love? Will you send us a photo? We would love to feature it on our blog and website. You can send the photos to info@mybestfriendshair.com. Thanks so much for all your help!
For the Love of Hair,
Kris
