We're mad for the women of Mad Men!

Who would have thought a show that takes place 50 years ago would set so many trends today? With it’s fifth season in full swing, AMC’s Mad Men is back and better than ever. We can’t get enough of the show’s leading ladies.

Betty (January Jones) - Though initially conservative, Betty’s look grew sexier and sexier while trying to keep Don’s attention through the first three seasons. Not matter how unhappy she was, Betty always kept her blonde locks perfectly curled, pinned, and hair sprayed. Glamour Magazine teamed up with Mad Men's head hairstylist, Terri V. Owen, on How to Get Betty Draper Waves - Straight from the "Mad Men" Head Hairstylist with a step-by-step guide on getting Betty's chic waves.

Joan (Christina Hendricks) - As the office queen bee, Joan’s look is always polished and professional. She adds just the right amount of sexy to her updos with volume and the perfect side-swept bang. Joan’s style specifically is one of the trademarks that makes the series so successful. With killer curves and confidence to match, this fiery redhead is quite the inspiration.

Peggy (Elizabeth Moss) - As Peggy’s career advanced from Secretary to Copywriter, her confidence has skyrocketed. She loses her boring old ponytail in favor of a ladylike bouffant. Peggy seems to have some serious chemistry with the new copywriter she just hired... and it might make her style this season even sultrier!

Megan (Jessica Paré) - The new Mrs. Draper appears to be half Jackie-O and half young and hip. Her long bob and deep side part make her hairstyle the most modern and a breath of fresh air compared to the show’s other women. Whether or not this sexy new leading lady can keep up with Don is yet to be determined.

Sally (Kiernan Shipka) - The youngest lady in the cast is Don & Betty’s daughter, Sally. Her look is slowly evolving from little girl cute to sassy pre-teen. Acting out during her parents’ divorce, Sally chopped off her own hair in season 4. We can’t wait to see less bows and curls and more attitude from this spitfire.

We wouldn’t dream of writing about Mad Men without including the men themselves. Despite their heavy drinking and womanizing ways, it is tough to resist Don and Roger!
